Our production takes place in our workshop in Thessaloniki, Greece, where our team combines decades of expertise with a passion for creating exceptional products. With over 44 years of experience, Konpoli has become a trusted name in the industry.
Since 2013, Konpoli has proudly served photographers in the Netherlands, and since 2019, we have expanded to the USA, bringing our high-quality, handcrafted albums to an even wider audience.
Our albums are handmade. This means that almost every personal wish for creating an album cover can be custom made.
For convenience, we have put together a standard range, but much more is possible!
Secondly, no cardboard is used between the pages, but 500micron thick PVC. Our experience is that this remains much more beautiful in the long term, the pages in the album remain just as tight as when you received it. In addition, all our albums are lay flat.
We only supply to professional photographers. We understand that this is a grey area, so our criteria is that you must have a Chamber of Commerce number or a valid VAT number with a registration of your photography company.

Super cool! Your own logo on your final product. For this we make a one-time metal cliché for you. As standard we make these at approximately 8 to 9 cm wide. If you want a different size, we are happy to make that, but you must let us know. After making your cliché, we can no longer adjust your size.
We can be found in programs that we are very enthusiastic about and would like to recommend: Smartalbum, AlbumStomp, Fundy.
In these 3 design programs you will find our templates. With these templates you are sure that your spreads are always written with our correct specifications. Of course you can also choose to design your albums in InDesign or Photoshop. For more information you can read our blog post about this.
Our albums include 15 spreads (except for the mini albums). Fewer spreads are no problem, but the price remains the same as 15 spreads.
The maximum number of spreads we supply is 50 spreads. Please note that the album will then be very heavy. From 35 spreads onwards, there will be extra tension on the spine. It is best to lift your album when you are halfway through. This way, the weight is distributed evenly.
A page is 1 mm thick (500 micron PVC + photo). The same thickness is used for all albums. On special request, you can also choose 300 micrograms PVC.(we advise this for more than 40 spreads).
All our albums (except accordion booklets and the magazine book albums) are lay flat.
This means that the pages run straight through, without a "gutter" between the pages. The only thing visible is a thin crease line. The ink breaks through the creases, so it can sometimes happen that the seam discolours slightly.
This is the first thing you see when you open your album. This is called face-off, and it is the first and the last spread of the album. You can choose from different colors of linens or a personalized custom printed linen. This way you can make your album even more personal!
You can choose also paper in the colors; black, white or cream.
The text embossing is punched in and is without color. You can choose from the following fonts:
Arial Bold, Gill Sans, Gabriola and Donna Bodoni.
The embossing is printed exactly as you typed in the order form.
You can also choose your own design. This gives you complete freedom in your design and font.
We prefer to receive this in an .eps file. If you do not have this, a high-resolution .jpg is also allowed.
You can also choose foil embossing. Your embossing is then filled with a shiny foil:
Gold, Rose gold and Silver.
By using a UV print you have a lot of possibilities in shapes, details and use of color.
After printing the ink it is hardened by UV light. A UV print is on it.
You can send your text or design in high resolution file.
Also UV print is very suitable for logos with a lot of details.
Laser engraving is a great option to personalize your wooden product.
Very fine lines are also very suitable for laser engraving.
The heat makes the inside of the wood visible, with dark wood your engraving will be slightly lighter in color.
The dimensions for our photo covers can be found in the catalogue. Make sure you deliver it in the correct format and take into account half a centimeter that we need to finish your photo cover nicely. If you prefer a different photo format, please let us know.
To give your album more body, you can select the option with foam for some albums. This is foam that is used under the cover to make it a bit thicker. It generally also gives your album a somewhat more classic look. If you want to use an embossing, we advise you not to use foam. Due to the soft base, less pressure can be exerted and the names will be pressed less deeply into the material.

Our average delivery time is 12 working days and +1 day for Europe and 2 days worldwide.

Speed delivery service is available, shipping the orders in 7 calendar days along with an additional charge.
Because we make everything by hand, there is a greater chance that there will be changes after placing your order. That is not a problem, but it is the reason why we have not linked a payment system to your shopping cart. Fortunately, there is a price indicator and this is fortunately very accurate.
When your order has been received by us, production starts almost immediately. That is why changes are possible up to 24 hours after placing your order. You will receive an invoice from Konpoli Greece within 3 working days.
However, the invoice must be paid before we send your package, so make sure you do this on time to prevent any delays in your shipment.
Because you receive the invoice from Greece, no VAT is charged on this. You do include this invoice in your VAT return. Do you file your VAT return yourself?
Where people work, mistakes are made, sucks! If you are not satisfied or your product was delivered damaged, please report this as soon as possible (within 3 working days). We would like to receive your complaint in an e-mail with your project number and an attached photo so that we can resolve this for you as soon as possible.
